The video gives an example of some of the fire safety rectification work our team undertake, under factory conditions, prior to works being carried out on site. In this example, we are applying Siderise RFT120 Fire Rated, foil tape to any exposed joints to an insulated floor level panel. This specialist fire tape is self-adhesive to ensure a consistent seal and has been tested to offer 300 minutes integrity in a fire. Once this preparatory work was completed, the insulated panels were quality checked before being installed on a high-rise, city centre residential building. Siderise RFT120 has been used in multiple fire resistance tests including EN 1364-4, EN 1366-4, BS 8414, NFPA 285 and BS 476-20.
